Accessibility

The standard is a gate, not a goal.

Last updated July 2026

This site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA as a minimum, and the commitments below are testable. Where the site falls short, we treat it as a defect — and we would like to know.

What we hold ourselves to

  • WCAG 2.2 AA contrast at rendered sizes in both color modes — checked against the token system, not sampled pages.
  • Full keyboard paths: navigation, dialogs, the system map, forms, and filters all operate without a pointer.
  • A visible double-hairline focus indicator on every interactive element, identical in both modes.
  • prefers-reduced-motion honored everywhere: line-draw ceremonies render pre-drawn, loops stop, transitions collapse to instant.
  • Focus management in multi-step forms — each step change moves focus to the new step’s heading.
  • Accessible names on every control at every breakpoint; decorative engravings are aria-hidden and cost assistive tech nothing.
  • Semantic structure throughout: landmarks, one h1 per page, lists as lists, tables as tables.

Found something?

If any part of this site is difficult to use with your assistive technology, browser, or settings, write to zack@thelegacybrokers.com with the page and what happened. A partner reads it, and fixes ship with the next release.

We find the decisive move. Then we build the system that executes it.
